The news headlines we see on the TV every day are the stuff of tomorrow’s history. Here we ask students to be historical news editors, researching their story and deciding which ‘angle’ to take. Students work on creating a story for the 6 O’Clock news using a deposition they have found on the 1641 depositions website. Will they choose to be non-biased or tell a one sided story?
Classroom set up: designed for an 80 minute class (or more), with ICT access for students and teacher.
