Understanding the immediate aftermath of the 1641 Rebellion – The 1640s
In the aftermath of the 1641 rebellion the socio-geographic landscape of Ireland was changed forever. Here student groups work on secondary materials provided by History Ireland to learn about political events in the 1640s and 1650s. They are then asked to devise a way of teaching this topic to their peers.
Classroom set up: designed for an 80 minute class (or more), with ICT access for students and teacher.
