<Exw 93> Symon Bellers of the Citty of Dublin gent sworne and examined deposeth and saith That about the first of December 1641: he this Deponent Liveing at Eniscorfy in the County of Wexford was then and there with his wife & Children forceibly deprived & expelled from their howse dwelling and farmes there and of 2 mills, And was then and there alsoe forceibly robbed and dispoiled of Cowes horses Mares, yong Cattell howsholdgoods hay a tanyard with a greate quantety of Lether, barke & other goodes & meanes, of the value, & to his losse & damage of eight hundred Pownds at the least, And this deponent by meanes of the Rebellion is alsoe deprived and hath (as hee is perswaded lost in debts the summe of ffive hundred & forty Pownds at Least; And by meanes of the said Rebellion this deponent hath had seuerall howses within the suburbs of Dublin pulled downe & wasted, And is alsoe further dampnified in losse of rents thereof five hundred pownds more And saith that the Rebells in the County of Wexford that rase vp in Armes & deprived & dispoiled him of his howses farms mills tanyard bark lether & other goodes were Peirs Butler of Clanekerry in that County Esquire Joseph ffarrell of Eniscorfy aforesaid merchant

Marchant: & the lord Mountgarrett, with the friers of Wexford but the rest he cannott name, howbeit all the papists in that Cuntry (as he is verely perswaded rase and tooke vp Armes in the verie begining of December 1641 aforesaid, and robd all the protestants in the Cuntry thereabouts, and amongst the rest they robbed expelled and deprived Mr William Swainton late of the Court of Eniscorfie aforesaid Esquire this deponents wifes owne father of his howses lands farmes & all his estate at Eniscorfy & elswhere within the County of Wexford and kingdome of Ireland of the value of ffowre thowsand Powndes (as this deponent is verely perswaded) besides divers other debts specialities & other evidencs of great value concerning his Lands in England.
