<Exr 112> James Swash of the parish of Moyana in the Queenes Countie being duly sworne deposeth and saith that i n & since the begining of the the present rebellion and by meanes thereof he this deponent dwelling in Bally Thomas in the said Parish was robbed of 3 Cowes to the value of vj li. by the dempsies of Clanmalero, and was robbed further to the value of x li. in howsholdgoods by William Cosby formerly a protestant and the servants of Henry Sterlinge formerly a protestant or his servants and kindred which Starling lyved in Killone in the parish of Killiney in the Queenes Countie And further deposeth that Brian Dempsie professed and most [

begged such a boone of the kinge that they should vtterly destroy all the protestants out of Ireland And if <symbol> they were not presently gone out of the kingdome they might kill drowne burne or putt them to any torment and that for the space of three yeares. And further they threatned that if ever they heard that we called them rebells they would most cruelly murther vs <symbol> for they were no rebells but discontented gentlemen And further deposeth that the names of the rebells that robbed Jurat 5to Aprilis 1642 him this deponent are Edmond ô Dooley neere kinsman of Rory ô More dwelling at Bally Thomas in the parish of Moyana and that all the dempsies of Clanmaleere and of the Brittas are all rebells with all theire tennantes who were neare neighbours to this deponent and of his familiar acquaintance but nowe they have brought him this deponent and others to extreame miserie for both hungar and Cold And further saith it was reported by the Rebells that Rorye ô More said he had the Queene and her mother in his Coach with him, that the Coach was most richly hunge with iewells, and that this Coach was attended <symbol> by 500 to waite vpon her And that the Queene because that the busines was not more furthered and for feare the same should be any way disappointed she and her mother were come over purposely to see it executed to the full
