<29> Daniell Mahoone of doresbracke in Coursyes countrey aged 70 yeares or there abouts, being sworne vpon the holy euangelists & duly examined saith he knew one Gousain that was seruant to Mr Marsh at the begining of the Rebellion; at old court in Coursyes Countrey aforesaid & saith <D> the said Gussain was carryed to Kilbrittan Castle and kild hanged there; but by whome he knowes not, but and saith that Bryan Bullagh was captain there then vnder mc Carty Rea as he conceiues, & saith that the said Bryan Bullogh and saith he heard that Mr John Stepney & two or three english more, were murthered in the barrony of Coursyes by some of the irish party, but whether they belonged to Kilbrittan or noe he knowes not; & further saith not
