The Examinacion of Jane Armstronge aged dwell{
Saith
That Liveing in the Towne of Lysan, In the begining of the Rebellion with her Grandfather Andrew Yonge, who keept an Inde in that place, One James mc Iveah, coming One evening with some Company to drinke, stayd with <B> the said Company drinking for the space of two or three howers, And then went away, as did all the Company, but within One hower affter or there abouts, the said mc Iveah, came againe, it being then Late, And the said Andrew Yonge in bed, calld for him to rise to drinke with him, but the said Yonge was verry vnwilling, being an Ould Craysie man, yet mc Iveah went he was soe Important, that hee gott vp & went to the fyer syde, where the said mc Iveah was sitting: mc Iveah dranke to him, And began to Picke a <C> quarrell with him, about a former falling out that was had happend betwene Andrew Yonges sonne, & the said mc Iveah, but presently the said mc Iveah steping vp from the seate hee satt on drew a sword, or Rapier from vnder his Cloake & thrust the said Andrew Yonge in the syde, that hee dyed within two or three howers or thereabouts, And speake not one word, the said mc Iveah going out of the howse, soe soone as hee had Committed the murder, this the Examinate acknowledgeth that shee was an Eye wittness of
