The examinacion of Tirlagh mc Scholane of Cloneveele in the Com of ffermanagh taken before us Sir Ri: Bolton knight Lord Chancellor of Ireland and Sir Gerrard Lowther knight &c the 3d day of Nouember 1641
This examinant saith that hee was Borne in the Com of <S> ffermanagh and hath a wife but noe manner of livelihoode, and that hee was a soldier in the last expedicion vnder Captaine Rory Magwire, And that the occacion of his comeinge to this Towne was to gaine some preferment vnder the Captaines which hee heard were then goeing into Spaine, and that use on ffriday Was seunight hee came to Dublin without any one in his Company and that hee brought noe weapon with him to towne but a Sword, and that on Saturday about Noone day hee was apprehended in Brydgestreete.
