The Examinacion of Elizabeth Moore of Cookestreete Dublin widdow taken before us Sir Richard Bolton Knight Lord Chancellor of Ireland & Sir Gerrard Lowther Knight Lord Chief Justice of his Maiesties Court of Chief Pleas this 19th day of 9ber 1641.
<Q:> Who beeing duly sworne & examined upon his oath sayth that upon All [ ] Saints day about eight of the clocke in the morning George Hackett gent & Henry Whyte Cooke came into her howse in Cookstreete to breakefast & as they were at Breakfast the said Hackett said that hee came into Dublin to receiue his Rents & that if hee might be made a Captaine hee would doe the King good seruice & that the said Whyte should be his Lieutenant or Ancient & thereupon the said Hackett dranke the Kings health to the said Whyte whereto the said White said that he would pledge it with all his heart and that as long as a piece of his sword lasted hee would spend his blood in the Kings seruice against the Rebells Shee further saith that shee heard no further discourse betweene them but that presently they went away
