Thomas Evans of Danastowne in the Countie of Kilkenny aged 60ty yeres deposeth that he lost by the Rebells all his goodes and howshold stuff worth 50 s., being all that he was worth about Christmas last by the tenannts of Captain Butler of Castle Comer in that County of Kilkenny but their names he knowes not he was alsoe stripped stark naked And the Rebells then said if he would goe to Masse he should haue all againe, if not, he was worthy of nothing for he feared noe god Jur 5o Aprilis 1642 coram Ran: Adams et Johe Sterne
