The Examination of Rowland Williams taken the second day of June 1642 Before mee Chancellour of his Maiesties Court of Exchequer By directions of the right honnorable the Lords Justices & Councell.
Who beeing sworne & Examined saith that hee this Examinant was present att Killcullen bridge when Maurice Eustace of Castle Martin with seuerall other of the Irish Rebells were gathering together theire fforces att the sayd Bridge of Killcullen and prepareing theire said fforces to goe vnto Newcastle towards Dublin And among others in that Companie whom this Examinant obserued to bee most busie & forward, hee then saw and obserued Allexander Eustace of Dowdingstowne who assisted the said Rebells in theire setting forward.
