    Isaac Keene of Longford parish Clarke of Ballamackcarmecke and Christopher and Thomas [Cormicke] Keene his sonnes of Longford aforesaid in the Barrony of Ardagh and county of Longford aforesaid duely sworne sayeth, that on the Eight and twentieth of October last and on the first of December last att the towne and Castle Longford aforesaid they were robbed and dispoiled of their goodes of the values folowinge.

    people in the said Castle would not deliuer it vpp into theire handes that they would burne it over their heades and all that was in it <B> and by ffrancis mc ffaghny mc Ross ffaroll of the Moate in the parish of Clonbronie whoe said amonge the rest that they had a comission from our Kinge to seize vpon all Englishmens goodes and landes and to Bannish them out of the kingdome which said ffrancis mc ffaghny mc Ross ffarrell did assaulte <C.> and demand possession of the Castle of Longford and the landes thervnto belongeinge and claimed the same to belonge to himselfe And further sayeth that the parties hereafter mencioned did assaulte and take the Castle of Longford (vizt) Morogh mc Edmond ffarrell of the <D.> Reyne in the parish of Chiloe, Perrott mc Rory of Iskar gent of the parish Cahill mc Turlagh of Cavan gent in the parish of Clonbrony, Donnell mc Connell of Clonnely gent in the parish of Chilo, ffaghny mc ffargus ffaroll of Tulley gent in the parish of Granard.
