Hugh Turnor of Ballidungan gent aged about twenty foure yeares Examined taken vpon oath Concerning the said Christopher ffurlong of Dauidstowne in the County of wexford gent
<To the 1st inter> The deponent saith that the said christopher dwelte in the County of wexford in the Irish quarters the whole time of the rebellyon & did not thence remooue into <u> the english quarters as he might haue done, as well as the english & protestants dwelling in the said County
<To the 2d Interr> Hee Cannot depose
<To the 3d & 4th inter> Hee deposeth that the said christopher did contribute his person & his endeauours to the abetting the rebellion & in token of his forwardnes, did rayse, Arme, & Comand about forty men with whom he plundred the Castle and howse of Castletowne bellonging to Nicholas Codd esquire a protestant then fled, & did afterwardes come to the howse of Richard whitty of Ballicheen & there brake a window & by force & Armes entered thereinto & plundered the goods therein to a great vallue, the deponents cause of knowledge is for that the deponent was in the said hows at Ballicheen & did see the said Christopher, & the said Number of men in Armes with him plundering & carrying <w> away the said whittyes goods & further saith that the said Christopher ffurlong did robb & spoile the howse of Drummer bellonging to Symon white A protestant as this deponent credibly heard & the examinant further saith that he heard that the said christofer was soe barbarous to the said white, that he burnt the tresses, or harneys bellonging to the said whites plough
