James Clandalke [
Saith vpon the wholl matter of the Interr That hee very well knewe the said George for that at the begining of the Rebellion hee Lived not aboue a quarter of a myle from his the said George his house of Killyane, & saith That the said George about Easter after the Rebellion gave his Consent (as being the principall gent in the peere of drynagh <s> wherein hee then Lived) that this examinant & seaven others shold goe as soldiers against the fort of Duncannon the tyme aforesaid, & that they shold bee Armed with pikes Muskets & swords at the charge of the said peere & that this examinant, & those other men went Accordingly & armed as aforesaid, & saith That the said George was about that tyme called a Capt, & that his servants some of them were at that tyme in Armes against the ffort of Duncanon,
This examinant further saith That hee sawe in the Hall of great Killyane aforesaid about Cristmas after the Rebellion two ffether beds which belonged to the plunder taken out of a vestell ymbarged Loaden by some English with goods then flying for England, & this examinant heard that there were some plate & other goods plundered from the said vestell [

& this examinant further saith, That the goods that were plundered out of the said vestell was brought by boate from Wexford, & landed vpon the Lands of Killyane not farr from the Castle where the said George then dwelt, the cause of this examinants knowledge is for that hee sawe some Trunkes of that plunder lying on the said Lands not farr from the said Castle, which were broken vp & the goods taken out, & that by Rich: mc Cody & Robert Debbon then servants to the said Cheevers & some others in their Company (who then & after lived with the said George Cheevers) This examinant also saith That the said George was in Armes & with & for the Irish Army against <t> the English at the battayle of Ballebegg not farr from Rosse In Anno 42
