The Examinacion of Nickolas Stafford Esquire taken on behalfe of the Commonwealth concerninge the aforesaid Andrew Scurlocke
<to the 1st interro:> this deponent sath thi that as this deponent verelye beleiueth the said Andrew at the begininge of the Warr did liue with his father Rowland scurlocke at Rosslare in the Countye of Waxford then the Irish quarters and that the said Andrew did sunne after remoue himeselfe to Dublin and as this deponent hath Credablely heard did List himselfe and serue as a souldier <n> in the Company of Sir Arther Loftus but how longe the said Andrew did soe serue this deponent Knoweth not nor hath heard
