The Examinacion of Major Edward Aston of Kilbarrie in the County of Waterford esquire taken vpon oath on the behalfe of the Comonwealth Concerning John Deuereux of Mountpill in the County of wexford gent
vpon the whole matter of the Interrogatoryes the examinant deposeth & saith that the said John Devereux was the Comander In cheife of the Irish Rebells of the said County of wexford in Armes that in or about the moneth of July 1642; beseiged the castle of Tinterne in the said County of Wexford then kept & defended by the deponent & a partie of english, for & in the behalfe of the english Interest And the deponent further <f> saith that the said John had or was to receiue of John Colclough [
