The examinacion of Hugh Turnor of Ballidungan in the County of wexford gent aged about twenty foure yeares taken vpon oath on the behalf{
<To the 1st interr> The deponent saith that he knew the said John being a nigh neighboure to the deponent & that the said John dwelt in the County of wexford, in the Irish quarters the whol{
<To the 2d inter> Hee Cannot depose
<To the 3d & 4th inter> The deponent saith that the said John did in the first yeare of the rebellion abett & forward the same, & did Contribute his person, in the same & further saith that the said John was in actuall Armes in the said first yeare & was in Company with Christopher ffurlong of Dauidstowne, & about forty men more in <d> Armes when they came to Ballicheen the howse of Richard whitty of Ballicheen, & did breake into the said howse with force and armes, & did plunder the said whittyes goods to a great vallue, which was about a forthnight before Christmas 1641: And forth the deponents cause of knowledge is for that the deponent was in the said howse when the same was broken open & did see the said John then & there present in Armes & actiue in plundering the said whittyes goods & carrying them away And further saith that the said John was with the said Company at Castletowne the howse of Nicholas Codd esquire a protestant then fled & was plundering thereof [

of this deponents Knowledge at f hereafter apperes & that Likewise the said John was one of them that did robb & pilladge Symon white of the Trummer A protestant as this deponent credibly heard, by the generall relacion of the Countrey

To the 12th inter> Hee deposeth & saith that the said John was at the plundering of the howse of Castletowne & was in & of & with the said Company when they brought from the said howse of Castletowne of the goods of the said Nicholas Codd one ferkin of powther, one <e> fowling peice & a quantity of match the deponents cause of knowledge is for that the deponent did see the said powther match and fowling peice with the said Company & heard from them that the same they the said Company and Ellyot had brought the same from the said howse of Castletowne as aforesaid the deponent further cause of the deponents knowledge is for that some of the said Company did when they first came into the said whittyes howse did strike & beat the deponent, And further saith not
