<To the 1st Intrij> this Examinat saith that the said Keating Lived in wexford in the begining of the Rebellion in 41 and there continued his residence vntill the Towne was taken by his highnes the Lo: Protector att <u> which tyme he went and Lived in Captain Codds Land att Castletowne
<To the 2. Intrij> he cannott depose
<To the 3. Intrij> saith that he knoweth that the said Keatinge contributed as othrs did for the carrying on the Rebellion as his neighbours did for the mayntenance <w> of the warr against the English his cause of knowledg is that he was liveinge a neere neighbour vnto him and contributed as others did:
<To the 4th and 5th> he cannott depose
<To the 6th> saith that he knoweth that the said Keatinge was att the Eleccion and choice of such as weere to be sent to the Supreame Provinciall and County Councell for the mannageing and setting forward <x> of the said warr and in raiseing of monneyes men and provicions for mayntenance of the forces against the English his cause of knowledge is that he hath seene him sittinge with the rest of the towne
<To the 7th> Hee cannott depose
<To the 8th> he knoweth that the said Keatinge frequently bought merchants goods taken att sea by the Pyrats <y> from the English and had a part in the buildinge of the ffriggott which was is now in repayringe which was then intended for a man of Warr to bee sett to sea against the English, his cause of knowledge is that he hath heard his parteners relating as much to witt John Rooch and others.
