The examinacion of Jonas Rushworth of Enisco{rthy} gent aged fiftie one yeares or thereabouts taken vpon oath on the behalfe of the Comonwealth Concerni{ng} Eneas Keinsly of Ballincargy in the Barrony of G{oery} & County of wexford gent deceased vpon the Interr annexed to the Comission of enquiry
<To the 1st Interr> The Deponent saith that the said Eneas dwelt at Ballincargy in the barrony and County aforesaid, being the Irish quarters, the first yeare, & the whole time of the rebellyon, and did <k> not thence remooue into the english quarters, as sir walsingham Cooke mr Tristeen, & other english & protestant{s} his nigh neighbours did.
<To the 2d interr> Hee Cannot depose
<To the 3th 4th & 5th
Interr> The deponent saith that the said Eneas did contribute his person, & endeauors in the first beginning of the rebellyon in the acting, abetting and promoting the said rebellyon against the english by being a member of the County Councell and [ ] Joyning with them in raysing men Armes moneys & prouisions for propagating and carrying on the said rebellyon against the english. The deponents cause of knowledge is for that this deponent did see the said Eneas present at & acting with the County Councell <l> in the first yeare of the said rebellyon at Eniscorthy the place of this deponents residence: And the deponent further saith that the said Eneas was the most forward and the actiuest man in the said rebellyon, that this deponent did know but & the man of greatest note & esteem, between the ferrybacke, & Arkloe, And the deponent further saith that the said examinant did see the said Eneas personally present at the publicque meetings of the Irish that were held before & by order of the said Councell, at Eniscorty aforesaid in the first beginning of the said Rebellyon, And further saith that the said Eneas was Receauer generall of parte of the County of wexford in the first beginning of the said rebellyon, The deponents cause of knowledge is for that the deponent, being prissoner at

Kilkenny, & being goeing casually to the Auditors office did see the said Eneas then & there passing his accounts of the Reuenue by him receiued in the Irish behalfe And further saith not.
