<To the 1st Inter> The Examinant saith That the said Edward dwelt about fiue miles distant from the Deponents habitacion, the first year & the residue of the rebellyon, in the said Barrony and County in the Irish quarters, without remooving himselfe <o> thence into the english quarters, as Sir walsingham Cooke knight, Edward Chichester esquire John ffountaine protestants that liued very neere to the said Edward in the beginning of the said rebellyon did
<To the Rest of> the Interrogatoryes he Cannot depose, Concerning the said Edwardes actings before Michelmas 1649: But of his actions and behauior since the examinant saith That after the said County of wexford, had submitted to the protecion & gouerment of the his Excellencie the Lord generall Cromwell, & became contributory to his Armie, the said Edward tooke vp Armes, & became a trooper in the Regiment of Sir Thomas Esmond [
