The examinacion of Richard Row of Bridgetowne gent, aged about twenty fiue yeares taken vpon oath on the behalfe of the Comonwealth Concerning the aforesaid Luke Keating of Kilcowan gent deceased
The Deponent saith that the said Luke Keating Continued in the County of wexford in the Irish quarters, all the time of the rebellion till he died & further saith that the said Luke did goe with seauerall men in Armes vnder his Comand, into the County of waterford in the first begining of the rebellion, & from thence did bring & plunder seauerall cowes & sheep, bellonging to english, liuing in that County, as this deponent was informed by one Thomas Hanraghane, a seruant to the said Keating, & one of th his Company at that time: And further <u> saith that the said Luke did plunder & take away some cowes, from about New Rosse, bellonging to certaine english & protestants there, & amongst the rest the cowes of one Thomas Clarke, The deponents cause of knowledge is for th that the said Luke Keatings Relict, in the deponents presence, Compound or made satisfacion to the said Clarke, for the cowes & cattle taken away of the said Clarkes as a foresaid by her deceased husband Luke Keating & further saith not
