The examinacion of Dauid Deuereux of Knockhowling gent aged about fiftie two yeares taken vpon oath on the behalfe of the Comonwealth Concerning Hugh Turnor of Ballidungan in the Countie of wexford gent
<To the 1st interr> The examinant deposeth and saith that he knoweth that the said Hugh Liued at Ballidungan in the County of wexford, in the Irish quarters the first yeare, & the whole time of the rebellyon, & did not thence remooue into the english <g> quarters as he might haue done with mr Nicholas Codd & other protestants Liuing neere the said Hugh did the deponents cause of knowledge is for that the deponent was a night Neibour to the said Hugh Turnor &c
<To the 2d inter> Hee cannot depose.
<To the 3d inter> The examinant deposeth and saith that he is confident that eyther the said Hugh or his mother Katherine <h> Liuing within the huose of Ballidungan did pay what cesses reflected on them, & that estate, as others of the countrey generally did
<To the 4 Inter> Hee cannot depose.
<To the 5th Inter> The examinant deposeth and saith that he hath seauerall tymes seen the said Hugh personally present at the meetings of the Irish in the time of the warre <i> (the yeare he cannot remember) at the Crosse of Killinincke, where the said Irish were assembled in order to Imposing & raysing Leuyes for the propagating the warre against the english.
