James Peirce of Ballell gent aged forty yeares of thereabouts being duely sworne & examined Concerning the foresaid Arthur Cheeuers of Ballimadder gent saith & deposeth That in or about ffebr 1641: the deponent did see the said Arthur lead & bring a Number of men in Armes Consisting of twenty or thereabouts to the Irish forces encamped neere Duncannon beleagering the same, which Men were all or most of them tennants Liuing vnder the said Arthur, & well knowne to the deponent, but for the present the deponent hath forgotten their Names, & the said men being thither brought they were Joyned to Compleat the Company of one Gerrald Cheeuers a Captayne of the Irish & brother in law to the said Arthur, who was then at the seige aforesaid: And further saith that the said Arthur was [
