Richard Row of Bridgetowne gent aged twenty fiue yeares or thereabouts being sworne & examined Concerning the foresaid John Barry deposeth & saith
That the said John Barry dwelt at Kilkeanan in the said County of Wexford some tyme after Wexford was taken as a protected person; but shortly after the said John (vpon the killing of certaine troopers vnder Major Pembertons Comand, who were killed at Kilkeanan aforesaid) fled & betooke himselfe into Duncannon forte, where he the said John Continued till the same was yeilded vp <n> to the english by the Irish, & that the said John was a Leiutenant of the Trayne band in the Irish gouernment & receiued a shot in one of his thighes (whereof he the said John yet goeth lame) but in what seruice or at what time the said deponent knoweth not &c & further cannot depose
