The examinacion of John ô Murrow of Maglasse yeoman aged fiftie eight yeares or thereabouts taken vpon oath on the behalfe of the Comonwealth Concerning the aforesaid Dauid Browne of Ballicappug gent
<To the 1st inter> The Examinant Deposeth that he well knoweth the said Dauid who dwelt at Ballicappug aforesaid in the Irish quarters all the time of the Rebellyon within a mile & an halfe to the examinants habitacion & did not thence remooue into the <e> english quarters as Nicholas Row a protestant liuing neere the said Dauid did
<To the 2d inter> Hee Cannot depose
<To the 3d & 4th inter> Hee deposeth that the said Dauid did act & abet the rebellion & Robberyes in the first yeare thereof: His cause of knowledge is for that the deponent did see the said Dauid in Armes among the Irish that layd seige to Duncannon forte in the first yeare of the rebellion but the time certaine <f> or what the Comand the said Dauid then had this deponent doth not know & the deponent did likewise see the said Dauid goeing about the Countrey Looking for the protestants goods that were then fled to plunder the same & as this deponent heard by credible relacion the said Dauid did plunder the corne of one stephen Gother a protestant who dwelt nigh the said Dauid
<To the 5 & 6 any of> the rest of the Interrogatoryes he Cannot depose onely to the 10th to which he deposeth That Vallentyne Browne Brother to the said Dauid was a notable plunderer in the first beginning of the Rebellyon & liued with his said brother Dauid Browne who did partake of the plunder & spoyle & went in Company with his said brother doeing mischeife about the Countrey The deponents cause of knowledge is for that the deponent did see the said Vallentine in Company with his said brother Ranging about the Countrey plundering as aforesaid & that the deponent did see the said Vallentyne on horse backe & in Armes as a trooper for the english against the Irish but in whose Company or vnder whose Comand he was, the deponent doth not know & further saith not
