The examinacion of Teig mc Murrough of Templeshannon yeoman aged fortie two yeares or therabouts taken vpon oath on the behalfe of the Comonwealth Concerning the aforesaid Edmond Synnott of Garriniske gent
<To the 1st Interr> The Examinant Deposeth that the said Edmond Dwelt at Garriniske in the County of wexford in the Irish quarters the first yeare & the residue of the rebellyon distant about ffiue miles from the examinants then habitacion: which Edmond did not <b> not remooue into the english quarters hauing power libertie soe to doe as well as his english & protestant Neighbours: His cause of knowledge appeares

<To the 3d & 4th Inter> The deponent saith that the said Edmond did contribute his share of publicque leuyes & chardges as of men, Armes money & such like in the first yeare of the rebellion for releife & pay of the Irish against the english: The <c> deponents cause of knowledge is in that there was a general{
<To the 5th inter> The deponent saith that he did see the said Edmond at <d> diuers publicque meetings of the Irish assembled in the said Barrony in the first yeare in order to promote the Rebellyon
<To the 6th Interr> The deponent saith that he beleiues the said Edmond was present with the Irish assemblyes, when they met to choose <e> men for the generall assemblyes & prouinciall Councells for that he was a man of good estate & well affected to the Irish cause
<To the 7th inter> The deponent saith that he beleiues the said Edmond did take the oath of associacion for that it was a generall thing
<To the 8th interr> Hee Cannot depose
<To the 9th inter> The deponent saith That the said Edmond was head collector <f> of the publicque leuyes for the Irish Armie in the vpper quarter of the barrony of Ballaghkeen in or about the yeare 1648:

His cause of knowledge is for that the deponent paid his the deponents proporcion of them publicque leuyes to the said Edmond & was a subcollector to the said Edmond

To the 11th interr> The deponent saith that one William Sacheuerell (since a Captayne in the parlyaments Armie) dwelte at Balliknockan the next villadge to the said Edmond from whence the said William flying to Dublin for <g> safeguard of his life left behinde him his goods & substance to a great vallue which were spoiled by the & taken away by the Irish and as the deponent supposeth the said Edmond had an hand in the plundering thereof for that he was his nigh neighboure
