The Examinacion of Richard Rochford of Wexford ffisherman aged 60 yeeres taken in the behalfe of of the Common-Wealth concerninge Walter Gilbert of Wexford gent deceased
<To the 1st Interrogatory> Saith that the said Gilbert the first yeere of the Rebellion in 41 lived in Wexford in the Irish quarters <a> and did not remove himselfe into the English quarters as Rows Davys Paul Bennett and many other English protestants did,
<To the 2d Interrogatory> he cannott depose
<To the 3d Interrogatory> The deponent saith that the said Gilbert did contribute to all publicque levyes the first yeere of the warrs <b> and vntill he dyed as the rest of the townsmen did for the mayntenance of the warr against the English
<To the 4th> he cannott depose
<To the 5th Interrogatory> Saith that the said Gilbert was in euery assembly in the hall in Wexford as the rest of the townsmen <c> did weere, and in armes att their musteringe
<To the 6th 7th & 8th> he Cannott depose
<To the 9th> The Examinant saith hat the said Gilbert was Bayliffe of the towne of wexford the 1st or 2d yeere of the <d> warr and acted in that capacity for the space of one yeere
