Joane the wife of Owen O fflyn & Daughter of James Pike lately Deceased Aged about 23 yeares being deposed saith
That shee being in the Bally Anker house in the Barony of Cosmore in the first yeare of the Rebellion saw a partie of men in Armes which were reported to be vnder the <A> Comand of Collonell Butler & Captain ffennell who did att then and there attempt the storming of the said house which after a short tyme wherin a seruant of Captain ffennells was wounded it was Surrendred vnto the said Butler and ffennell they promising to all the said persons in the said house free quarter for their liues yet presently afterwards in the same day the said Butler & ffennells souldjers did take out of the said house of those who then were then promised quarter as aforesaid James Pike this Examinants ffather together with her brother John Pike & two or three four or fiue Persons more whose names she knowes not were & hanged them and {
