    Humbly sheweth vnto your worshipe (whereas) att the begining of this rebellion of warre I with the <A> towne of Cullinogonough was forced for sauegard of our liues to fly into Cullin Castle for releefe and there remained from Andrewes day till lambmas soe att lambmas one William Hybbot beinge gouernour of our Castle went in and out to conuers with the rebells. ond sunday afore lambmas the sayd Hybbot and his wife was to dine with the greatest rebell there about one william Burke of Cloughlord: alia{s} Pollerstowne: and the father in law of the sayd Hybbot <A> heareinge of it, bid her goe, for she should not goe farre with her life, soe she was forced to stay, but her husband went: soe it was concorded and agreed with Hybbot and Burke, to giue soe many liues of ours in the Castle as we killed of theirs: and on lambmas day beinge munday He caused william Blake to call vp the people to shere theire corne, and tould them the rebells weare gon to limbrick, and the went, but in the weare cut of euery man and woman of fiftie but iij whereof one John Hyne was one, Daniell Rooe and his sonne Thomas Kelly, Elizabeth Browns sonne in law, Gilbert Waters and diuers others, and within three days after the Castle deliuered, and our goods disposed to the rebells.
