William Merricke of Corke beinge duely sworne and examined deposeth and sayth that he had a sonne murdered att Coole quarter, and that <A> in the tyme after the Cessacion he went beinge att Castllyons, inquired whoe were there vpon the party and some of the Irish tould him that there were on the partie Collonell John Condon, Richard Condon of Ballydergyn and Gibbon McShane & and h many others and that itt was generally reported that quarter was given but after they had deliuered vpp theire Armes they were murdered And further sayth not./
