<Gallway May 25o> The Examination of John Soy taken as abouesaid
whoe saith he was a Gassowne with one named Collo Connor <B> o Maly of Collonel fflaherty his company dureing the seidg of the fort of Gallway and afterwards went alonge with him to Wards Castle; saith that the said Collonell sent a messenger in to the said Mr Wade; but what was his messadge he Knoweth not and as this Examinant remembred the said Collonel sett a Centinell vppon the said Castle; and saith he heard that Mr Wade his wife and his sonn were Killed, but saw them not; and saith he gott the aboute the worth of Eighteene pence or two shillings of Linen; Cloath, which he stole, and cutt from a table Cloath, they not alloweing him any part of the plunder and further saith not.
