The examination of francis keith of Arglasse being aged about fyfty yeers taken the 7th May 1653
<symbol> Who being sworne sayeth that he knoweth that there was four Irish men killed in Arglas about the second yeere of the Rebellion as he remembers; And he sayeth that he knowes not the names of those that were killed, But only that one of them was called Mc Dyne; Being asked of the ground of his knowledge <A> This examinat sayeth he sawe the corps of one of them carying to the churchyard to be buryed And that he heard say, there were three more killed. And he sayeth that he this examinat was in his bed, when the foresayd persons were killed. And he sayeth that they were come into the quarters about ten dayes before they were killed; but how or upon what terms they came in he knoweth not
