The Examination of John Johnstone of Ardglasse being aged about fourty yeeres taken the 7th May 1653
Who being sworne sayeth that about in the second yeere of the <C> Rebellion as he remembers, he heard Say, there were four Irish <A> men killed in Ardglasse, who had come into the quarters some fyue or six dayes before they were killed.
This Examinat being asked if he did heare who killed the foresayd persons, he sayeth he heard say that Edward Jackson [
This Examinat being asked, if he knowes or did heare by whatt orders the foresayd persons were killed, or if Capt Wooll had any hand or was att the killing of the foresayd, he sayeth he neither knoweth nor neuer heard that Capt Wool had any hand therein, nor by what orders the fact was committed And further he sayeth not
