Taken before me att the Down this 19th of January 1652
James ffitzymons beinge duely sworne and examyned Concerning <A> the Morthers Committed by Tho: Dixon against Redman ffitzymons saith that att the Mullagh Bane alyas White Hills that the said Redman ffitzymons and his Man was Morthered by the said Thos Dixon The may was tweluemonth affore the Rebellyon began the said man haueinge his protection aboute hym from the Lo: Clanhaboyes And demandinge of the examjnate the Cause of his knowledge Concerninge the said Murther he declareth that Phelymy Smith getting att Strongforde a protection for the said Redman ffitzymons the examynate was then there and within a weeke after he was killed att the Mullabane by the said Tho: Dixon a Little after sonne sett and ffurther saith not;
Phely Smith beinge the other examjnate agreeth with the fformer examjnate in every particuler and further saith that he sawe the said Tho: Dixon kill the said Redman ffitzymons att the Mullogh Bane aboue said and further saith not;
