The examination of Patrick mcLeuerty of Aghaboy in the County of Monaghan taken before vs Sir Sa: Mayart knight & Hue Cressye esquire &c this 6 of Nou: 1641
Carbery Birne sworne to interprete truly
Who saith that for this yeare last past he hath had no dwellinge but went <N> begginge vp & downe in the County of Meath, & that vpon friday last was fortnight he came to Dublin but from what place he knoweth not, nor at what townes he was at 3 or 4 dayes before he knoweth not nor had he any weapons al dayes of his life, & that no body bad him come to Dublin or was he promised any imployment here but came of himselfe alone & lay at a widdowes house in the towne but knoweth not wherabouts it is for that he was neuer here before. & saith that he cannot worke for that he hath an infirmity about his hart which maketh him fal into swondes.
