The Examinacion of Griffin Kavanogh of Dunfort in the County of Kilkeny gent aged 64 or therabouts taken the 19th day of August 1652
The said Examinant sworne & duly examined, saith, that he lived att Newtowne in the County of Catherlogh within a mile & a half of the Graige, att the beginning of the Rebellion that he lyved ther 15 or 16 years, and continued ther till within 4 years agoe or therabouts: Being demanded if he did know John Stone & the rest of the English lyving in the Graig, and ben he saith he did know them being asked what became of them, he saith that they were taken and carried away from thence towards <A> Ross by orders as he hath heard, and that by the way they were hanged, being demaunded by what Orders t [
