John Dannett of St: Johnstowne in the parish of: Clonbrony in the Barronie of Granard within the Countie of Longford shoemaker sworne & examined Saieth that on the 27th Daie of octoberL: hee was at: St Johns towne aforesaid robbed stripped and Dispoiled of goodes of the value: hereafter expressed vizt: of: Cattell: Worth: fowreteene powndes, howseholdgoodes and workeing tooles in his shopp: worth: eight Powndes, in beere and wheate provided against the faire fowre powndes, haye Winter fuell and two gardens with: other Winter: provision stat worth: eight powndes, In: Debts five powndes in all amounting to Thirtie Nine powndes, by <A.> Bryan mc: Shane: ffarrell of Aharkell, Morgan of Raine ffarrell: of fferrell Raine and Lysagh mc: Gerrald ffarrell of Donbad, and Divers others their followers they Saieing that: they had the Kings authoritie under: the Kings broad Seale for what they Did, and that: the Scotts were appointed to aid them: And further Saith that: hee was afterwards robbed in the: Countie of Westmeath as hee was Comeing to Dublin of his Coate and his wifes hatt: being worth: together xxv s.:, & of five Shillings in money: by one Walter Darcy <B> liveing neere: to the bridge of Clonard, and his Company: by meanes of which outrages hee: and his wife with their Seaven Children are in great want and miserie and readie to Die for Want:
