Donell mcffarrrell mcAward of Balleleag in the County of longford <A> labourer being duely examined sayth that hee knoweth ffarmoyle & that it is not aboue three mile from Ballyleag and knoweth Phelim mcffergus ffarrall deceased, John mcCnogher fferrall and John mcCulroe And sayth that hee knew one Donell oge mc Award late of Ratch Rathcleene who is gone for Spaine And being demanded whether hee with any of the partyes abouenamed or any other person or persons whatsoever did in the yeare 1642 or at any other tyme forcibly fetch out of Sir Richard Brownes house or any other place the persons of William Steele & Daniell Stibbs or either of them and hanged them at a windmill or knoweth of any such Act to haue bin <B> committed or by whom denieth that hee knoweth any thing of it att all onely by hearesay about a quarter of a yeare after the said murther hee heard of it at Masse, and that Phelim mc ffergus fferrall was Captaine of a Company that did the said murther & was the cause of it And further sayth not.
