The Examinacion of William Stafford of Taghmon gent aged about thirtie nyne yeares taken vpon oath on the behalfe of the Comonwealth Concerning John Cheeuers of Ballihally in the County of Wexford esquire vpon the Interrogatories annexed to the Comission of enquiry
<To the 1st interr> The examinant saith that to the best of his remembrance he did see the said John Cheeuers on the towne & County of Wexford in the first yeare of the warre but is confident that the said John was between this County & the County of Catherlagh (where he had <d> the estate of R [
<To the 2d inter> The deponent saith that the said John Cheeuers did remoue from Maystowne neere Dublin (the place of his former residence) in or about the first yeare of the warre vnto R [
<To the 3d interr> The deponent saith that he is confident the said John did contribute to the publicque taxes of the County wherein he dwelte for that he could not (as the <f> deponent verily beleiues) hould and manadge soe great an estate without Contributing maintenance proportionable with others to the releife of the Irish Armie

<To the 5th inter> The deponent saith that he hath seen the said John at <g>the publicque meetings of the Irish at Kilkenny as here after followeth
<To the 6:> The deponent saith the he hath seen & knowne the said John Cheeuers to be a member of the seauerall generall assemblyes at Kilkenny, where the said <h> John had his vote for In choosing & electing of men out of them assemblies to act as & in the supreame councell The deponents cause of Knowledge is for that the deponent was at some of them assemblies about busines & other times the examinant was a member thereof himselfe
<To the 7th inter> Hee deposeth and saith that he is very Confident that the said John Cheeuers did take the oath of associacion for that the deponent & others of the generall <i> assembly did without excepcion take the said oath & for that the deponent i s [
