The Informacion of Lieutenant Symon Pressley of Raphoe in the County of Donnegall gent. taken vppon oath at Liffer in the County aforesd the 16th day of february 1652 before me Thomas Newburgh Esquire one of the Justices of the peace by Authoryty of parlyament in the Province of Vlster:
Whoe beinge duely sworne saith that at the breakeinge out of the Rebellyon in this dominyon of Ireland on the first day beinge Satturday in Anno 1641 he beinge at blessingburne in the County of Tyrone a Garrison Commaunded by Sir Henry Tichburne whose ffoote Company then Lay there he saw Hugh Moynagh mc Artt a vyolent and principall actor amongst the Rebells which then attempted the surpriseing of the Castle and burnt the Towne and wounded and slew seuerall of the Brittish Nacion and this Informer saith that when the said Hugh Moynagh shalbe brought to his Tryall he will Justifie the same and more largely relate the same particulars thereof then at present and farther this enformer sayeth not:
